Shipping & Delivery
At tradie-tools.com, we know that when you order a tool, you usually need it on-site as soon as possible. We ship Australia-wide, from capital cities to the most remote regional hubs.
1. Shipping Rates
We aim to keep shipping costs as low as possible. Rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your delivery postcode.
- Standard Shipping: Starts from $12.00.
- Free Shipping: Available on selected orders over $199 (Excludes bulky/heavy items and some remote postcodes).
- Bulky & Heavy Items: Items over 22kg or longer than 1 metre may incur a heavy-goods surcharge. This will be clearly displayed in your cart.
2. Estimated Delivery Times
We process all orders placed before 2:00 pm (AEST) on the same business day.

3. Battery & Dangerous Goods (DG) Shipping
Many of our cordless tools contain high-capacity lithium-ion batteries. Under Australian Law, these are classified as Dangerous Goods.
- Road Transport Only: Most batteries and kits containing batteries must travel via road. This means "Express" options may not be available for battery-only orders.
- Safety Compliance: All battery shipments are packed and labelled according to Australian Dangerous Goods codes to ensure safe transit.
4. Tracking Your Order
Once your gear has been packed and leaves our warehouse, we will send you a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking link.
5. Delivery Particulars
- PO Boxes & Parcel Lockers: We ship to PO Boxes for items under 22kg via Australia Post. Bulky items requiring a courier cannot be delivered to PO Boxes.
- Authority to Leave (ATL): By default, our couriers require a signature. If you choose "Authority to Leave" at checkout, tradie-tools.com cannot be held responsible for items that go missing after the courier has confirmed delivery.
- Remote Areas: Some extremely remote locations may require pick-up from the nearest freight depot. If this applies to your order, our team will contact you before dispatch.
